Chris Smith started working with a large pest control company right out of college. At the young age of 23, Chris was a Branch Manager for his company in Jackson, TN. Although Chris stayed at this company and learned about the pest control industry for over 10 years, he knew that he could offer a better product for a better price. It was this entrepreneurial spirit that inspired the vision of Southeastern Termite & Pest Control.

When Chris decided to leave and start a pest control company of his own, he knew that it would be tough. He diligently knocked on doors of potential pest control clients, treated new construction homes for numerous contractors in Madison and Gibson County, and performed termite inspection letters for real estate agents that represented homeowners who were selling their homes.

In just a few short months, Chris had enough business to hire two pest control and termite technicians. With his fast growth, he was also able to move his office from his garage in Jackson to Southeastern's current headquarters in Medina, TN.

Although Southeastern Termite & Pest Control has added thousands of clients throughout Tennessee over the years, Chris and his staff have never forgotten what made them successful coming from the most humbling of beginnings.
